As Design Director for Ford in China and the International Markets Group, Max Wolff is helping lead the brand into a new era of automotive design.
Most recently Wolff has led the Asia Pacific Exterior Design team in Melbourne, Australia. In that role he has delivered Global programs such as the Ford Ranger as well future China specific vehicles. Prior to that Wolff has played a vital role in Lincoln Design.
Wolff has been designing for much of his life, a dream first imagined when he was 12 years old and his father bought him a car magazine which sparked his passion for automotive design.
The Australian native now has nearly 25 years of global automotive design experience and joined Ford Motor Company in January 2011. Previously, he spent 13 years at General Motors, stationed in offices around the globe including Australia, South Korea and in the United States at Cadillac. Max now divides his time between Melbourne and Shanghai, China as he guides and expands the Ford China design team.
His background encompasses leading both advanced and production design teams. Prior to his automotive work, he practiced graphic and product design. Wolff graduated with a degree in industrial design from Monash University in Victoria, Australia.
